The Fine Print
By booking with Grown Up Bartending Services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
Grown Up Bartending Services provides mobile bartending, event staffing, and event planning services. We operate as a dry-hire service and do not sell, resell, or provide alcohol directly. The host is responsible for purchasing all alcohol and mixers from a licensed retailer. We provide a custom shopping list based on your guest count, package, and drink menu.
A 30% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event. Dates are not held until the retainer is received. All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise noted.
Cancellations made 30 or more days before the event forfeit only the retainer. Cancellations within 14 days are charged 50% of the total event cost. Cancellations within 7 days are charged 100% of the total event cost. You may reschedule once at no additional fee with 14 or more days' notice, subject to availability.
Every bartender is TIPS-certified. We will not serve guests who are visibly intoxicated, underage, or unable to present valid ID when requested. This policy is non-negotiable and exists to protect you, your guests, and your venue. We reserve the right to stop service if these conditions are not met.
The client is responsible for providing a 6-foot table (or confirming we will bring a portable bar), access to potable water within reasonable distance, and a power outlet within 50 feet. For outdoor events, the client must provide a covered area or tent for the bar in case of rain, heat, or wind. We will not set up unprotected equipment in active weather.
Travel within 30 miles of our base is included. Beyond 30 miles, a travel fee of $1.50 per mile applies. Events more than 90 minutes away may require lodging arrangements at the client's expense.
We carry general liability and liquor liability insurance. A Certificate of Insurance can be provided to your venue upon request with at least 3 business days' notice. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by weather, venue restrictions, or client failure to meet the minimum venue requirements outlined above.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking confirmation applies to your event. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
